A mixer is where a group of people get together to hear about AdvoCare and see if AdvoCare would be a fit for them in their life.
A mixer usually opens with Spark!
Whoever hosts the mixer at a home, gym, club house, or any place to have a gathering of people, usually will share Spark so people can sample one of the most popular products AdvoCare makes!
A mixer in general is an AdvoCare get together where people share their story about their relationship with AdvoCare and how AdvoCare has helped them whether it be financially, health wise, weight loss, etc…
Then usually a video or slide presentation is shown to give people an overall view of what the AdvoCare company is and then show the different relationships you can have with AdvoCare.

Mixers in person are very powerful because people can try the Spark, hold the Impact magazines, talk face to face with other people and hear the stories live.
Sometimes there may not be mixers where you are located so an optional way to run a mixer is to do it online whether you record a live mixer that is going on in a house or make your own mixer to share.
It’s simple…There are a number of tools you can use to record an online mixer and share AdvoCare over the internet. Many of the tools are free or have a free trial.

I get a lot of questions about how to make money with AdvoCare.
Many people don’t know where to start or how to begin.
I’m going to take you through some must haves in order to be successful profiting from AdvoCare.
1. Hunger – If you take a look at the successful people in network marketing or anything for that matter, it usually starts from a point of desperation and drive to succeed that surpasses anything else.
You’ve heard the stories of rags to riches and people who hit rock bottom and finally are in that place of “do or die”.
I know for me, I was looking for a way to make money without going back to work full time which led me to AdvoCare (in a round about way!)
Honestly I was sick and tired of being sick and tired! Bills were pilling up, there was never money for vacations, dinners out, or “extras”.
The year I started AdvoCare 2 of my kids were in private school, we were in a house we bought at the top of the bubble and could not afford, and after repeated tries at getting a “real job”, nothing was opening up for me.
Now-I am by no means at a place of major life changing money yet. But I will tell you that because of AdvoCare, our family has a lot more choices.
I’ve been able to pay off over $5000 in debt and have a nice consistent monthly income that surpasses anything I would have made going back to work.
2. Consistency– I don’t know why people get into network marketing and think that the second they pay for their kit, they are going to get rich?!?
What other job or business model does this?
There isn’t one!…So many people give up after they get in when a few people say no to the products or business.
When the newness of the business wears off and times are tough you must hang on the the reason you started in the first place and keep pushing through.
I love what Sarah Robbins the wildly successful network marketer says,
You see–there’s a daily battle for your vision. If you are discouraged, defeated, devastated, or distracted from your vision, you then become ineffective at your mission in life–whether it be to love your loved ones or to lead your team. That’s why it’s important to keep our vision strong, protect it, and to stay focused on our calling in life.
Your not going to always feel like working your business or making that phone call, but by staying focused on your purpose, you can get past the feeling and make breakthroughs.
3. A Thick Skin- When I first started this blog almost 2 years ago, I would get some of the most hateful comments and emails you can imagine.
It was like everyone and their brother were saying your an idiot for getting into network marketing.
Yes I had support from my husband and close friends but I think they also figured it would come and go and I would move on to something else in a few weeks.
Something usually happens when you first start building your business, you think of people that you know who would be great at this…..
But when those people say no or not now, it can be discouraging and make you want to throw in the towel.
Here is what I’ve learned, don’t let the opinions of others distract you from your vision and purpose for your life.
Their opinions don’t pay your bills and provide time with your family!
I have some people who watched me for a year or longer after saying no and then decided to join.
Sometimes the people around you just want to see if you can do it. Prove them wrong and show them you can!
4. A Giving Spirit
Provide value and help for those that want it and need it and you will be rewarded greatly in this business.
Help others win should be your motto!
When people start hitting their health and financial goals your really are the one that gets the blessing in return and it’s not just financially.
I’ve formed some wonderful friendships through AdvoCare and am very grateful for that.
At first I thought I would start this blog and sell products, sign some people up, and make some extra money to start paying down debt.
That did happen but it wasn’t until I really started building relationships with team members and customers did I start to see a jump in my paycheck and began figuring out my purpose in all of this.
5. Ability to Share- our job as business builders with AdvoCare is to share the products and business opportunity with others but not “sell” it.
We are all adults and can make up our own mind whether or not we want to get involved with AdvoCare and if so how we want to get involved.
It’s kind of like if I find this awesome new restaurant in town and can’t wait to share it with friends.
I tell my friends about it and they see my excitement and want to try it themselves….Sharing…
Now let’s say one of my friends says, “I tried it but didn’t really like it”. I’m not going to be mad at them or hurt that they didn’t like it.
But I might say, “what did you have?” or “what didn’t you like about it?” Once they tell me I can have a better idea of whether or not they chose the right meal or went at the right time or whatever….
It’s a little different with everyone but here is one example of what I have seen work really well for people who are sharing.
After you’ve completed the 24 day challenge and have lost weight, gained energy, or both people start seeing a change in you.
Maybe you’ve lost some weight and your friends or coworkers start saying something like, “wow you look great” or “how do you have so much energy?”
That’s a perfect time to share with them how you started a program your really excited about and would love to set a time to talk to them more about it. Boom! Done!
Sometimes we really over complicate this thing! Don’t let fear hold you back from sharing with someone. Don’t attach your self worth with whether or not they say yes!

What is the…
I wanted to break down the AdvoCare compensation plan so it’s easier to understand and you can see exactly how you make money with AdvoCare.
First off-You need to become a distributor. More information on becoming a distributor can be found at how to become a distributor.
Distributor cost: $59 plus tax and shipping
If you want to make money with AdvoCare 5 different ways (yes 5 ways!) you must become what is called an Advisor.

Since AdvoCare is a direct sales model company, it’s important to understand the compensation plan before starting the business.
For a quick overview, AdvoCare Independent Distributors get paid 2 different ways and AdvoCare Advisors get paid 5 different ways.
There are benefits of Joining AdvoCare as a Distributor and as an Advisor:
1. Retail Profits:
Kind of a no brainer but let me explain…When you join AdvoCare as a distributor, you will receive your own website from AdvoCare to shop from and have others shop from. It will look just like mine (with your pic of course)
Depending on your total order amounts will depend on what percent of a discount you get. Here is a chart showing you the different discount levels:
Most people start at the 20% off level unless they want to be a business builder and shoot right to the 40% off level then they make an Advisor Order (this is my recommended Advisor Order)
So to recap the benefits of being a distributor you can purchase products at a discount and then sell those products for the retail amount and keep the difference.
2. Wholesale Commissions
Let’s say someone signs up under you as a distributor and then places an order. Depending on their discount level you receive the difference between their discount and 40%. So if your friend signs up and is at the 20% off discount level and places an order you earn 20% of that order.
Whatever their discount level is, you earn the difference up to 40%.
The next 3 levels of earning is for Advisors Only
The first incentive available to Advisors is the Rookie Bonus Incentive. After you become an Advisor you have three pay periods to recruit 3 new distributors and get a total of $3000 in group sales.
By doing this you get an additional $500! This is an excellent incentive for new Advisors.
Other incentives include all expense paid vacations and other bonuses that AdvoCare provides to qualified Advisors.
4. AdvoCare Overrides
Overrides are residual income bonuses that are earned by Advisors who are in a leadership level in AdvoCare.
Overrides are calculated by your business volume under you and all of your Advisors through 3 levels.
Business volume is approximately 50% of all volume and then that is multiplied by a percentage depending on your level. Overrides pay up to 7% of the Business Volume under EACH Advisors group up to 3 levels deep.
5. Leadership Bonuses
Leadership Bonuses tie into Overrides but is still an additional way to get paid through AdvoCare.
In order to qualify for leadership bonuses you qualify at different “pin levels”. The great thing with leadership bonuses is that they go on beyond the 3 levels that you get with the overrides.
These levels are as follows:
How to get to Silver in AdvoCare:
Silver is the first level in AdvoCare where you can begin to take advantage of the Overrides and Leadership bonuses mentioned above. For Silver you will get an additional 3% bonus in leadership and an average of $100 in override.
So for the silver pin level you need at least $3000 in retail volume under 1 or more advisors combined. This level averages about $12,651 per year.

The Next Level in AdvoCare is the Gold Level:

As your increasing volume in your business through Advisors under you, if you accumulate $15,000 in retail volume you will hit the Gold Level and get additional 2% leadership bonus (plus the 3% silver bonus so your at 5%!). You are also at an average of $500 additional in overrides.
Gold 3 Star is the next level and this is similar to the first 2 but your adding width to hit this leadership level.
For Gold 3 Star you need:
3 Legs of Advisors with a total volume of $15,000 and each have a minimum of $3000 in volume under them. Add another 2% and your at 7% leadership bonus. You also are at an average of $500 additional in overrides.
The next AdvoCare level is Ruby:
With Ruby you need a cumulative amount of retail volume to be at a minimum of $30,000. Below is a 1 year example of what could happen hitting Ruby. This pays out an average of $81,967 a year. You have also added another 2% to your leadership bonus total. Your overrides are approximately $1000.
Now let’s talk about 6 Star Ruby:
This is very similar to 3 star Gold but you need to have 6 qualified legs and a total retail volume of $30,000. You get an additional 2% in leadership bonuses and your approximate override is $1000.
The next level is Emerald which pays out an average override of $2000 plus an additional 2% in leadership Bonus. Your leadership bonus is up to 13% at this point. Overrides are not included in that percentage. You must have a cumulative retail volume of $60,000 and it pays out an average of $192,108 at this level.
Next on the Advocare Pay Plan is Emerald 9 star:
Similar to the other star leg levels in that you need 9 qualifying legs that add up to $60,000 in retail volume and get an additional 2% leadership bonus. This level pays out an average of $276,729 a year.
After Emerald comes Diamond:
This level pays an additional 4% in leadership bonus and an average of $4000 in overrides. So now you are up to 19% in leadership bonuses at the diamond level.
You need a retail volume of $120,000 in your organization under advisors. The diamond distributor makes an average of $615,717 a year!
After Diamond comes Platinum:
With Platinum you need an overall retail volume of $240,000 from advisors. Your approximate overrides are $8000 a pay period and you get an additional .25% in leadership bonuses.
The Average Platinum distributor makes $1,071,550 in commission per year.
Then Double Diamond and Triple Diamond each add another .25% leadership bonus and
Double Diamond your override is approximately $12,000 or more in volume and you have at least 24 advisor legs generating that $12,000 in overrides.
Triple Diamond distributors need 36 legs and get an additional .25% in leadership bonuses added on. Your approximate override is $24,000 and the average commission is $$1,071,550 or higher.
Please keep in mind that the average incomes per level change slightly from year to year.
AdvoCare is very much about helping others get results which in turn helps you get results. I also appreciate the fact that someone who signs up under you can pass you in levels. So it really comes down to you and how much you want to work the business to earn the income you want to earn.

So the answer is yes you can make money in AdvoCare, and Selling Advocare can be very profitable if your committed. The successful distributors love helping others achieve their goals.
That being said, the business side of AdvoCare is not for everyone and I understand that. I am not going to push the business on anyone. I am able to say I have had a lot of success with this business and have never been happier :)

To Start a Successful Blog is not hard. Follow the steps below to get your blog up and going.
Blogging does not have to be expensive or hard to start, you just have to know how to start. A blog can not only improve you business but can change your life.
Once your blog gets successful, the time freedom and money can be life changing to do what you want when you want to and spend time with those you love.
Why Free Blogs Are Not a Good idea…
There are a lot of free blogging services out there that sound great but have many issues if you really want to make money blogging.
First off: Your not able to arrange free blogs the way you want. A lot of time you have to have ads on your blog you do not want, restrictions on styling your blog in certain colors or themes. I could go on and on.
With the price of blog servicing being so inexpensive these days it just makes sense to to use one where you can have your blog the way you want with or with out ads, larger bandwidth, etc..
Secondly: A hacker can get into your blog a lot easier with a free blog over paid for services. Unfortunately when yo haven’t paid for a blog service, customer service will be little to non existent. Especially when you need help the most, free blogs just don’t cut it.
Thirdly: Because you are in effect renting space using a free blog service, you can get shut down for any reason they see fit. Yes this does happen a lot. Years of hard work can be gone because it was really not your blog to begin with. This is a business so you want to make sure you own it. Your the one putting together the information and spending time getting your blog seen, you need to protect it.
So let’s get started and
Pick Out Your Domain Name
The domain name of this blog is www.24days2skinny.com. I would definitely use .com whenever possible unless your going for another country or something you would use a national extension.
Everyone recognizes .com and it is the most popular so don’t limit yourself. Stick to .com
Don’t spend forever on this step but you do want to be happy with your choice. For the AdvoCare business in particular you can not have the word AdvoCare in the domain name.
Pick a Web Hosting Service
This is an important decision because you want to be happy with what they can offer you. They provide the online storage that your blog will need. This also allows potential customers and visitors to access you blog.
I have tried a few different host services but really like iPage. Their customer service has always been great. Any time I have an issue or a question they are right there to answer. They also have gone above and beyond at times when I have had software or WordPress issues that they did not have to help me with but did.
ipage has a new Worpress Essentials package that gives you great service, speed, and extra security. I moved to this and have been very pleased with the program and call whenever I have a WordPress question. They answer right away and help with everything! I have been very happy with them. They understand WordPress.

Step 4. Installing WordPress
Now you can install WordPress which is the blogging platform I would suggest. From your dashboard go to My Installs. Here is a training video showing you how to set up WordPress along with pictures and steps below.
Step 5. Picking a Theme
Ok-Now it’s time to set up your Theme!
Which theme do you want? I personally use Thesis. This is my affiliate link in case your interested.
I like the way it looks and on top of that the theme is fast loading and has added options that make it easier for search engines to find you. There is a learning curve to this theme though so keep that in mind.

There are many other themes including free themes to check out.
If you log into your new wordpress site now you can click on the add theme button and pick one.
Try and pick a theme that can be seen well on phones, tablets, and desktops. These are called responsive themes.
There are thousands of themes to choose from. Check out the different WordPress Themes.
Through the WordPress Essentials Package they also have themes for you to pick.
First: Go into your back office and click on Appearance and then Themes. As Shown below.
Next Click on Add New
Here you can search for a theme you have been looking at or a topic you’d like to search for.
Pick a theme and then click on install now.
Or you can upload a theme you had already saved.
If you have uploaded a theme already, you can activate the theme by hitting the activate button after you found the file on your computer and installed it.
Now that you have your theme installed you are ready to start putting content on your blog and start blogging!
You can use your blog to advertise your business.

And look, I completely understand.
When I first got started, I searched the internet for the Best Advocare Distributor or team to get that help that I needed and found it.
I am so happy with the team that I am on and the support that I get from my sponsor and others.
You want to jump on a team that has extreme momentum that won’t be slowing down any day soon… and ride it all the way to success.
And let me be straight up with you… I can’t answer if I’m the Best Advocare Distributor for you… that’s up to you.
But I can, and better yet I will, let you in a dirty lil’ secret other Advocare leaders are too scared to share with you.
And before I let the cat out of the bag, allow me to lead you in a brief exercise that will allow you to properly identify who is the Best Advocare Distributor for you.
You can’t grow corn without first planting the seed in fertile soil.
And you can’t build a home starting on the second floor.
You need a firm foundation. The same goes for uncovering the perfect distributor for you to partner with.
First, you have to get down right honest with yourself… and admit to yourself who you are and where you are in your life right now.
Right about now you’re probably looking at the screen with confusion…
So give me a second to explain.
It would be downright wrong of me to make claims that I’m the Best Advocare Distributor for you.
Or for that matter if you were better off under another leader’s guidance.
Why?! Because honestly, I don’t know.
I have no idea who you are, what skills you have, and in the same token what weaknesses you have.
So slow down Danica Patrick or Jeff Gordon, and pull your car over to the side of the road.
And before you start searching for the Best Advocare Sponsor, you need to perform a little self assessment.
Are you brand new to online network marketing?
Or are you an experienced veteran with a few years under your belt?
Are you looking to make just a few extra hundred dollars per month, or are you looking to put Advocare to the test and make a full time income?
What are your skills and what are your weaknesses?
How much time daily are you willing to put into building a future where you’re free of the constraints of time and money?
And the laundry list of these questions can go on forever… but I think you get the point.
To make a long story short, if you want to know where you’re going… you first need to know where you’re starting from.
And so you get an idea of what I’m putting down, I’m going to be totally transparent and share with you what it is that I was looking for when partnering with an Advocare Distributor:
“I’m Joanna Bostwick- and I’m looking to partner with a leader who is willing to show me how to leverage the internet so that I may speak with Targeted, High Quality and Free Leads who are either ready to buy or ready to partner with me. And once you’re done, you now know without a shadow of a doubt, the qualities you’re looking for in an Advocare Distributor to partner with.
So now you know what it is that you want, let me share with you what it is that I bring to the table, so you can make a decision on whether or not I’m the leader for you.

And before I do, let’s circle back to the beginning where I promised to share a little know secret with you that other leaders would prefer that I keep hush hush.
Well honestly, I ain’t having it.
The truth needs to be told, and the truth is this: only 1% of all Advocare Distributors earn a full time income.
Say what?! Get out of town.
It’s the truth, and even Advocare prints their annual average income statistics for their distributors, but no one really bothers to look.
So, while other leaders fail to bring it to your attention, I throw it in your face.
It’s because the old school and traditional ways of building your Advocare business are extinct like the Dinosaurs.
Back in the day: making a list of at least 100 people, inviting your friends and family over for a home meeting, weekend hotel meetings and three way calls were the quickest and most efficient way to build your business.
However, I believe times have changed……not everyone would agree…
We live in a hi-tech and hi-touch world where the internet makes it possible for us to get information with the click of a mouse.
So, in today’s world of Advocare, when a prospect is first introduced to the business opportunity no longer do they sign on the dotted line that moment.
Nope. Instead, they fire their computers up and hit Google.
And they hit it hard.
They look for reviews, testimonials, product information, compensation plan overviews, the 411 on whether or not Advocare is a scam, and so many more searches.
The Advocare Distributor who then positions themselves in front of these prospects and gives them the information they are seeking.
As well as show them how to get in front of buyers just like they are, is the leader who will build a massive organization very fast.
My personal specialty is in dancing with Google.
And Google loves me so much, it allows me to obtain prime time real estate on page one any search term I want to.
In fact, I am sure that is how you found this article.
And here’s the best part. It costs absolutely $0 to rank on the 1st page of Google.
That’s right. See unlike paid advertising, where there is more risk than reward, getting in front of buyers is completely free.
And it all starts with building an innocent lil’ blog. Just like the one you are on now.
But why a blog and not a website?
Because Google has an absolute love affair with blogs.
You see, their clients are everyone who uses their platform for searches.
And their clients are searching for information, not sales pages.
So, if Google ranked sales pages over blogs, their clients would break up with them and go into the arms of Bing or Yahoo.
Now of course, Google doesn’t want this. The more searches on their platform, the more they can charge those who want to advertise.
Get the picture yet?
This is why building a blog is the most effective method to get on to the first page.
And the more keywords you blog about that are being searched for, the more people will view your site.
And these leaders who are on the first page for major Advocare search terms, are some of the 1% who make a full time income.
