Advocare 24 Day Challenge Menu Ideas

I wanted to add a few sections here with more recipe ideas including a healthy snacks section and breakfast ideas.  These menu ideas are for the AdvoCare 24 Day Challenge.

If you are on the 24 Day Challenge you want to make sure you have the Advocare 24 Day Challenge Daily Guide pdf for your overall directions and food portions.  Once you have that, you can go into planning out some menu’s and snack ideas.

Advocare 24 Day Challenge Breakfast Menu Ideas:

1.  Smoothies- Use your meal replacement shakes, or Muscle Gain, to make wonderful fruit smoothies for breakfast.  In terms of calories sometimes I use half the shake packet since I am adding fruit.

2. Whole grain toast with different toppings.  Here are some ideas:  toast with apple butter and sliced apples,  Whole grain toast with healthy peanut butter sprinkled with raisins and almond slices, and whole grain toast with hummus and chopped red peppers.

3.  Eggs Ideas:  Fried egg on whole grain toast, scrambled eggs with spinach and tomatoes, Egg Zucchini muffins, Hard boiled egg whites with avocado in a bowl.  See more ideas on my Advocare 24 Day Challenge Pinterest board

4.  Other ideas: Cottage cheese and fruit (during MAX Phase), low sodium Turkey roll ups with a scrambled egg in middle, and

  • 1 banana, mashed
  • 4 tablespoons almond milk
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine all dry ingredients together with a whisk.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the egg, banana and almond milk.
  3. Gently pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients while mixing with a rubber spatula until just combined. Do not over-mix.
  4. Heat a large skillet over medium heat, and coat with cooking spray. Pour 1/4-cup rounds of batter onto the skillet, and cook until bubbles appear on the surface, about 3 minutes. Flip with a spatula, and cook for another 2-3 minutes.

In reference to the “No Bake Bites,” how many are considered a serving for snack?

  • Shawn Simmons

Can you tell me if sprouted grain bread is better than whole grain bread? Is that considered the complex carb? What is a normal portion size? Thanks for all the great info.

    • @Shawn-Sprouted bread is considered “better” than whole grain in terms of the carbs. Yes it’s considered the complex carb and 1 slice would be a normal size just add a healthy protein with that.

    • @Susan- No it’s not recommended. The cleanse helps with inflammation in your digestive tract and coffee does not help with that. Stick with water and Spark.

  • Robin L Cone

I am looking for this kind of support and different ideas. My coach has been awesome but this is what I am looking for. Daily emails. Different choices.

  • Johnny

I’m on the cleanse, what kind of seasonings can i put on my chicken to make it not bland? I know little to no salt is best but do you have any healthy baked chicken recipes?

    • @Johnny-Any low sodium seasonings are fine. There is a low sodium Ms. Dash seasoning and others in the grocery store.

    • Leah

      lemon juice and fresh garlic!

  • Jordanna

I have trouble swallowing pills…what can I do? The probiotic I can get down but not the others

    • @Jordanna-You can either crush the pills or we have other products that are in a non pill form like Slim and Fast Melt. Hope that helps.

  • Laura

I am currently on the cleanse. Am I able to use balsamic vinegar?

  • Gina

I’m on day 4 of the challenge to get back in shape. I had my first baby 3 weeks ago and am breastfeeding also. Since starting I realized I’m making a lot less milk. Any suggestions or recommendations??

    • @Gina- Not sure on that one. I would ask your doctor. Make sure your eating all the meals and getting enough water. Never heard of this issue before. Sorry!

  • Virginia Tedesco

Wait… Isn’t oatmeal considered a grain? I was told no grains…can I eat no bake bites on my cleanse??

    • @Virginia-Oatmeal is fine. Whole grain bread is ok as well. Some people opt for no grains during the cleanse part. That’s up to you. Remember this is a lifestyle change not considered a diet so you can make it more restrictive if you want to but in general its clean, whole foods, no sugar, creamy sauces, white flour, fried foods, alcohol.

  • Michelle

What are the calories and nutrition facts for the no bake energy bites.

  • Becky

What condiments can you have, ie steak sauce, ketchup, mustard, mayo etc.

  • Nancy

Are you allowed to eat the No Bake Energy Bites in the 10 days?

  • rita russo

I received 24 day challenge but did not get daily guide in packet. How can I get it> I am on 1st day

  • Melinda

What do you do if eating first thing in the morning makes you sick? I get instant Diarrhea and feel gross most of the day. I am really wanting to get started on the challenge but worried about the side affects and having to sit in an office all day lol

    • @Melinda-I assume this is your usual, feeling sick in the morning and not a medical condition. You may want to talk to your physician about this because it is not normal. Show your doctor the cleanse and MNS and make sure it’s ok for you to take.

    Getting fit is fun

I start my challenge Monday! I have 60 pounds I want to lose. You said of you had 20+ pounds to lose you recommend getting more meal replacement shakes? Do you use them for breakfast every day?

    • @Miranda So glad to hear you started the challenge! For most people if you have more than 20 pounds to lose I recommend extra shakes and possible add on products to help with the weight loss. Yes you could drink a shake everyday in place of one of your meals. It really depends on your current eating habits, lifestyle, and whether you are exercising at all or not to determine other products that would be successful. The products work, you just need to make sure your using the right ones and the other components are in place. Hope that helps!

    Day 1 I’m excited!!!

    • Awesome!! Excited for you! There is tons of info on the blog if you have questions you can always comment as well :)

  • lisa

Love your ideas, thanks for all the tips.
Are there condiments we can use with out restictions, like mustard, rice vinegar and salsa?
Also are veggies such as spinach and lettuce considered a “free food”, eat with any meal? Are there others that are ” unlimited” like cucumbers?
    Thanks for any advice.
I am on day 2 of my first 24 day challenge.
    Wish me luck…

    • Lisa-Glad to hear your doing well on Day 2! In answer to your questions just common sense stuff. Light low fat dressings are ok. Mustard, rice vinegar, and salsa is fine. Just stay away from high sodium and high fat condiments. Try and eat as “clean” as possible. Not a lot of processed stuff. Your fine with the veggies you mentioned can all be eaten with any meal. The overall principle is not to deprive yourself but just make healthier choices. This is a lifestyle change not just a 24 day change :)

  • Michelle

    Excited to do another challenge!
